Spiritual Formation

Spiritual Formation is the inward and outward process of being formed by the Holy Spirit as we follow Jesus into a full and robust relationship with God. We offer a variety of ideas and opportunities to work out big questions and invitations as we learn to live more and more like Jesus, both personally and in our community life.

Small Groups

Small groups can be all kinds of things - from gathering around a meal, to meeting for coffee, going on walks, creating art, serving together, or a more intentional Bible study or spiritual companioning group outside of our weekly worship gathering.

Whatever your group looks like, the goal is to help us be intentional in one another’s lives: to encourage, pray, ask questions, and hopefully grow together in our faith.

If you’d like some help finding small group resources that work well for you, or if you’d like to lead or join a small group, please talk with Kari.

We really value prayer in our community, but recognize that people pray in all kinds of different ways. We want to encourage a whole life of prayer in the church and invite you to participate with us.

If you’re looking for a consistent place to gather with others, a group meets at the church office every Friday morning at 7:30am.

If you’re looking for some creative prayer options or personal retreat ideas to find a way to talk with God, please ask Kari for some suggestions.

If you would like to lead our community prayer in the service, please talk to Rob.

Study Groups

Occasionally we like to have some in-depth conversation around a specific idea without the longer-term feel of a small group. When that happens we host short term groups (3-6 weeks) that look at ideas through open and facilitated discussion around books, essays, or documentaries.

These groups are open to anyone who wants to engage in respectful and curious dialogue about how our faith intersects with the rest of life. For more information, talk with Kari.

Heart Matters is a weekly Bible study for women that meets on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00am.

Our gathering time includes fellowship, prayer, small-group breakout discussions, and Bible exploration. Supplemental materials will be distributed each week via email or text.

If you'd like to participate in or inquire about Heart Matters study, please contact the organizing committee.

Weekly Women’s Bible Study

Throughout the year we offer shorter run events and DIY suggestions focused on different aspects of how our faith might inform our involvement with justice in our community. Some examples would include guided group reflections around Truth & Reconciliation, book clubs on Climate Justice, and resourcing for conversations around Mental Health.
